Electrical Engineer
Downes Associates is seeking
an electrical engineer to join their professional engineering
team. The ideal candidate will hold a BSEE or BSEET degree;
have 7-10 years of work experience, 2 years of which will have been
with an electric company; and, be interested in periodic customer
interaction. Among the skills we are seeking are candidates
with experience in the design, construction, implementation and
trouble shooting of SCADA systems; integration of RTUs, HMIs and
IEDs; and, familiarity with substation design and generator control
systems.
This is a full-time position
located in Salisbury, MD and offers a competitive compensation
package to include 401k, profit sharing and benefits. Further,
relocation assistance is contemplated.

Senior Field
Services Technician
Downes Associates is seeking a
Senior Field Services Technician to provide customer onsite support
for electrical physical plant (substations) equipment.
The position’s principal responsibility will be to conduct field
testing and repair of electrical power substation equipment to
include protective relays, transformers, voltage regulators,
generators, transfer switches, etc. Secondary responsibility will
be to conduct both shop testing and calibration of KWH class meters
and perform meter reading for customers.
This is a full-time position
located in Salisbury, MD and offers compensation in the $55-$60k
range. Also included is a 401k plan, profit sharing, and
full-benefits package. Relocation assistance is available for
this position.
